Alright, so let's hear what people have to say about the upcoming quarterfinal matches in the "Coupe de France" on the 27th and 28th of February:

Sedan-Nantes
Marseille-Vannes
Montceau-Lens
Sochaux-Paris SG

Can Montceau repeat the heroics of Calais in 2001? (when the regional team lost to Nantes by 1 goal in the final) The early bets appear to be on Marseille to win the Cup, but as we have seen in French football, no assumptions are safe to be made. Just ask "les Bordellais". Or perhaps even the part-timers of Calais, who again made the quarterfinals of the 2006 edition, losing to, ironically, Nantes again.

My prediction if the draw for the semis allows for it:

Cup winner: Marseille
runners-up: Sochaux

semi-finals:
Nantes-Lens
Sochaux-Marseille

Sedan-Nantes : I think Sedan can win against Nantes.

Marseille-Vannes : We should win but we have to fight for it. Vannes won against Bordeaux so we have to take them seriously.

Montceau-Lens : I don't think Montceau will be able to beat Lens, however if they do it will be a great story.

Sochaux-Paris SG : I hope PSG will win cause I want a revenge from the final of last year.

Paris and Nantes had to fight to stay in Ligue 1 next season. I think that they can't spend to much energy with the French Cup.
I hope that Lens and Marseille will play the final, a great final.

Montceau did it!!! After Bordeaux, Montceau won against Lens! :eek:
Montceau 1-0 Lens

Sedan 1-1 Nantes (pen 5-6)

Marseille 5-0 Vannes

Sochaux 2-1 Paris
