Juventus are still the richest club in Italy despite their costly demotion, a financial report has insisted. Juventus have lost millions since they were stripped of their Serie A status for their part in Calciopoli, but only Real Madrid and Barcelona made more money than them in 2005-06. A report published by Deloitte states that the Old Lady of Italian football made almost £166m within that period, even more than Manchester United. Milan are the fifth richest club in the world, two places and £20m better off than city rivals Inter. Roma are 12th after netting an income of £83.8m.

1 Real Madrid £192.7m
2 Barcelona £171m
3 Juventus £165.8m
4 Manchester United £160m
5 Milan £157.5m
6 Chelsea £145.8m
7 Inter £136.3m
8 Bayern Munich £135m
9 Arsenal £126.9m
10 Liverpool £116.1m

Hopefully Secco will spend some some in the summer.

Probably already spent a good chunk of it Phat, thats the revenue generated after last years income. Not the overall profits just income

This year will have generated next to no TV revenue, no european money and are Juventus now restricted to even less gate income due to the incident?

But along with this still have to pay massive wages, maintenance and running costs of one of the biggest clubs in the world. I cant see them anywhere near the top 15 next year. I wonder what the sales figures of Juventus merchandise are globally for this season

But these numbers are for the 2005-2006 season when Juventus was still in Seria A so doesn't that make their demotion irrelevant? Shouldn't they be farther down in the list when it is published for the 2006-2007 season?
