It starts this weekend with the Supercup, and ends the first week of December, with usually a break in the summer for NT's activities.

edit (spoiler) :

game ended , desearved draw for Tokyo Verdy who was really unlucky not to score before that granted penalty in the last minute of the game .

It was just funny to see you doing your best to look like a kind of hard core fan I've never seen in Japan .
I think it's better you just do it the japanese way being polite and all ;)

anyway here is the game I watched :

Kawano who entered instead of Iio made a good impression and made verdy play better . he even outclassed Kengo Nakamura in a left side 1 on 1 :D

Unfortunately, here in Japan fans lately and especially in last year have started trying their best to imitate European or South American hooligans without to release why, which is pathetic and in their DNA.

Entering into pitches, shouting vulgar words - China just fine - Japan strange.

Anyhow, yesterday game was good one - I like that particular sense of the suspense to the very end in Japan League. Remember how Cerezo lost their title - with an own goal in last minute.

base ball is a different story but being vulgar in a stadium mood is a thing and trying to show you're that kind of guy in a forum is a different thing .

when did sanfreece get relegated?!? aww well, atleast now they are kicking ass and taking names in D2... though I am saddened about this... i leave japan, can't watch them play anymore and then come back from iraq and they are D2!!!

you know what the beauty of being a gaijin in japan is? no matter how japanese you act, no matter how rude or unjapanese you act... you will always be a gaijin, so you might as well play the part and enjoy it! lol when i was in japan i had a blast! and i know the japanese had a blast making fun of me and laughing at me... so i really can't complain.

浦和のファンです!:D (yep I know a little Japanese even though I am swedish, that means "I'm an Urawa fan"):p Unfortunately I can't watch J-league though, or well I know a site which has a lot of streamings and I have seen them listing Urawa games and some other J-league games there a few times but unfortunately it's always so early here in Sweden, usually the games are around 6 or 7 a.m. swedish time:( I have never seen a whole game in the league but I started to like Urawa when I saw some videos on youtube of them and especially of their very great fans! They have an extremely good support! I really hope I can go to the Saitama Stadium some day:D:p Japan is one of my dream travels anyway so....:p
Maybe someone can make torrents of J-league games?

I watched Kashiwa - Kashiam on Saturday and there was this accident where one Kashima supporter hit with his flag hit twice Alex from Kashiwa when he was trying to take a corner. He pursued him a couple of minutes and succeeded. Anyhow, too pathetic - it is so not Japanese.

Anyhow - Oita Trinita are my favorites. With virtual no budget compared to big guns, with only young players and real young manager - I hope they would mount a serious challenge for the title to the end.

Fan of Yokohama F. Marinos. The reason being that the first ever soccer game I went to was them versus kashiwa reysol. I rooted for Marinos that game because my dad lives in Yokohama. Then I found out Nakamura began his career there and my support for them grew stronger.

Anyone know where you can actually download J-league games from?

This is one blog where you can dl j-league. Also there is some games in this very forum too. http://www.japanesesoccer.net/wordpress/?page_id=2052

To watch J-League from tv, you can try Eurosport 2. Regular Eurosport don't do J-League. Eurosport 2 had J-League at least last year. Commentaries are in british. In Finland Eurosport 2 is optional channel for cable broadcast (DVB-C). Aerial broadcast (DVB-T) has not Eurosport 2. (I learned this the hardway, coz I moved from DVB-C to DVB-T apartment..) I guess you can find E2 in nordic and or Britain. Let me knoe if I am totally wrong.

I don't know any other TV channels, sorry. I guess some hawaiian channels show them KIKU-TV etc.. Japanese domestic channels are broadcasting it (thats for sure :o)

Hopefully this helps.

sometime couple of j-league games broadcast LIVE on regular channels on tv here so when i can, i will try to cap. might take a while to post,tho..
just saying i will see what i can do..

at least, i can try to record the highlights of each games on regular japanese sports program. each of them are usually short, tho. but then probably you guys can find them on youtube or elsewhere..

I lived in Japan for almost six years and went to a bunch of Urawa and Ardija matches. I really miss watching those games (and I miss Japan too!), so if you cap anything it would be great!

Naoki Matsuda (34) has dropped dead of a heart attack during a training match. He was a former Japan intl and played in WC 2002

You gotta wonder if steroids or other PED's are playing a part in these sudden heart attacks.
Seemingly healthy 34 year-olds dont just drop dead like that.
