That was a good draw but now ASSE will have a hard game against Valenciennes! I don't know why but i'm querz Saint-Etienne is gonna win this game... The way ASSE played against us in our friendly game was very promissing!

ASSE are I'm afraid so shockingly inconsistant that qualifying for European football is too much of an ask.

I think the departure of Frédéric Piquionne was really the turning point last season; it's just been too up and down for my liking.

Nothing pleases me more than to see ASSE succeed. When they pull out quality that manifests in possibly the goal of this decade (yes big call) i.e Ilan's blinder against PSG it's just what makes me support them even more.

2-0 defeat to top ranked side Nancy;-their home form has been fantastic. As for Etienne, one goal from Feinduono to make a 1-1 draw and four losses away isn't good enough to make Europe at the moment.

Away form is poor as it always is.

sorry if this is a daft question :D

i've been playing Pro Evo allot these past few months and i absolutely love the Saint-Etienne team. Ilian is one of my favorite players in the game at the moment and a crazy goal scorer, i think i must have scored close to 30-40 goals with him in 10-15 games. and i was wondering since my knowledge on French football is limited how good he really is. just out of curiosity is he any good?

He's a pretty good player and although I have my dislike for ASSE, I do like Ilan and Gomis. Ilan started off the season pretty good, but he has sort of faded away since he got injured and came back. Haven't seen him lately as I have not watched ASSE matches, but he's OK.
