Preparation:

KSC wins first testing game of the season against an all-star-team of the City of Bruchsal with 8:0.
The new players Stefan Buck and Christian Timm scored in their first match for the KSC. The other goals: Sebastian Freis(3), Sanibal Orahovac (3)

DFB-Cup:

In the first Round the KSC will meet TSG Neustrelitz (http://www.tsg-neustrelitz.de/fussball-index.htm#Fu%DFballabteilung%20der%20TSG%20Neustre litz), a Club from the 4th Division.

source (http://www.ksc.de/aktuelles/anzeigen/news/ksc-im-dfb-pokal-zur-tsg-neustrelitz/6.html)

Side note:

Whole Karlsruhe is totally messed up because of the sale of season tickets.
Today the free disposal of season tickets began (10000 tickets sold before to members of the club) and the queue didnt seem to end. More than 5000 people are waiting to get a ticket. A few hard-boiled fans are waiting since yesterday in the queue! :)
"Thats a lot more people as we can handle today!", a staffmember said.
Its just like in the old times, when the KSC was in the UEFA-CUP.
For explanation: The capacity of the Wildpark-Stadium is about 32000

I remember Karlsruher :)

v/Py8RcNDYLJ0

Thomas Hässler pwned us so hard in the first leg, but then he got injured and wasn't selected for the second match.

Funny, both 0-3 goals are absolutely fantastic. Hässler buttfucking the Brøndby defence before passing it to Sean Dundee and Kim Vilfort's amazing goal (when there's 1 minute left of the video)

He is a player from the KSC-Youth.

He's now 22 years old, in his debut match in a pro league he scored a hattrick.
Scored 22 goals in 78 appearences for the first team.

Was a member of the U21 and U20 Nationalteam of Germany ( scored a few goals, but now he is too old, i think ), you can see him on the highlight vids in my first posting ;)

Scored 8 goals in the last season.

oh yeah dear that(Hässler) was a really awesome player and also Dundee in theese seasons. But when he (Dundee) became famous (went to Liverpool), he really got from bad to worse.

I remember that match too :( :(, exchanged scarves with a Brøndby-Fan after the match at home.

In an article of the "Kölner Express" Franz Beckenbauer affronted the Club(KSC):
His words: "Its really a shame! Such a club like the KSC is playing now in the Bundesliga, but 1.FC Cologne does not...":D

sry, really poor mind, i think
KSC has fans, tradition and infrastucture too. Ok, only no money.
But what criterias!

I hope Federico will be happy at Dortmund:) Was really a severe loss for us:(

I hope Görlitz stays healthy. He deserves a good chance.

In the testing matches he was one the outstanding players, along with Tewelde and Hajnal. I also hope he stays healthy, was one of my favourite players at Bayern

That I do hope, too ;) He showed a lot promise at Köln, has really hit the high notes with you guys, and hopefully will be able to do it with us too.

And I hope for you guys that you can stay well clear of the relegation battle this season ... and get back into Europe as soon as possible ... KSC and Europe was always good entertainment, if I remember correctly.

i think all in all it was a crappy match (too many fouls in the game), we can do a lot better. In the first minutes we showed it (and in some phases too).
Maybe it was because of the missed penalty:mad:

But as a consolation, Schalke wasn't really better (what a goal^^):D:D:D or we were a hard opponent.

Whatever, so they have more time for preparation. Its only a pity because of the money, we need it.

KSC SUCKZ!

My 5 year old nephew was unfortunately born in Karlsruhe and his father took him to his first game ever there..

Result: 5 year old boy (who cannot talk in complete sentences) singing KSC songs in his grandparents Frankfurt home and got kicked out by his Uncle..:D

..not really..

I attended the Eintracht - KSC game few weeks ago.. What a shame ever for us.. KSC supporters were good and even had a pyro show for us, which resulted in a foggy stadium for about 20 mins. and in the end they took 3 points home..

Wont forget that.. (should say that I probably underestimated KSC and their supporters)

i'm very proud of KSC at the moment. the team has great spirit, and i just love their offensive style (they could use their chances even better though).
i attended the game vs. Borussia Dortmund last month and it was such a great game with KSC winning 3:1. it was simply awesome to be there. nice to see former CL winners being bashed ;)
i think we have good chances to stay on top of the board for quite a while, if we keep playing same football. we're still 4th after 12 games, so it's just great

KSC fighting, thats all i can add to this...

the pride of baden in the first league after a long time and performing very well up to now with a low-budget team compared to most teams but with heart and spirit on the other hand as a great bonus. i loved how they crushed stuttgart, the damn swabians :D when i was in stadium

well we'll see how they perform in future
