Hey Mitch,
Check out the Foxsports Asian Cup venue finder (http://www.foxsports.com.au/football/asiancup/venues#screening). There is quite an extensive list of broadcasting outlets, but I doubt they'll all have large screen, so you'd be best off calling your desired location and confirming it with them.
Alternatively, congregate with the Green & Gold Army: http://www.ggarmy.com/html/s02_article/article_view.asp?id=1568&nav_cat_id=246&nav_top_id=65&dsb=1233 [big screens]
Since it's exclusive to Foxtel and not FTA like the WC, I seriously doubt they'll be public set-ups like circular quay and belmore park [although I heard there'd be one in Perth], so those are your only options I'd say...

Fair few venues near me. As long as they have Coopers to drink looks like i'll be fine :D
I don't know about outside venues, but the GGA books out the funcion room at Paddy Macguires on George St. Probably the best place to watch it.

Venue i went to was not football friendly at all. Wasn't many people there but had the game on the smallest screen in the place and on the others were just some crap video clips playing. Also then this accoustic band who couldn't play/sing went throughout the second half and they wouldn't turn up the commentary :( Only went there anyway as was a 2 minute walk from my house but next time think will actually head to a proper sports bar like usual.

I actually watched it on SOPCAST, streaming internet TV thing.
The commentary was in Chinese, but very watchable.
All the games should be on either Star Sports or CATV5
