MLSers tend to stick to BigSoccer, Toronto will take this poll hands down.*
Mainly because TFCers number one hobby is surfing the net for irrelevant polls to vote in :p
*Yes I do quite loves my FBTZ, do not fret.

If it brings fans, who cares if they just want to see becks play. More intrest will attract more high caliber players and grow the league. TBH I never watched that much MLS before Toronto played (just the occasional game here or there) but I've seen every one of TFC's games so far and have gone to 2 games already (with 2 more this season on the way).

I don't really have a favourite MLS team because up until Beckham joined Galaxy I had never watched a MLS game lol.
But out of them all I have heard of some players from Galaxy (David Beckham, Landon Donovan, Jo Cannon, Abel Xavier, Cobi Jones etc) so if I do start to watch more MLS I will probably pay the most attention to LA also because my favourite NBA team is LA Lakers:p

That's funny.
what is funny is the lack of support the teams in america get. every time tfc goes on an away trip the stadiums have about 7K worth of fans....
some teams can actually fill a place up Almost. but only a few can do so in america.
tfc games are Always sell outs. and thats the way it will always be
if tfc had a 40K stadium. it would be sold out.
and what also is funny is how bmo field never gets any travelling fans from the states... one team had a travel fans section for one match.
tfc gets about 50-60 travelling fans to Every away game. in a few years that will be in the 500+ range.

Funny considering I had 10 friends including my girlfriend fly to Toronto for the game against FC Dallas....you think we'll get anyone from Toronto for that game? I doubt it. You have 50 travelling fans because the games are within a few hours. In Dallas we have one road trip within a 7 hour drive...we had 30 fans drive 13 hours to Denver for the game against Colorado and we've been doing this for 11 years. Don't need any pointers from some guys who have been on the scene for a few months.

Only a few in America? Are you insane? THERES ONLY ONE TEAM IN CANADA! There's no few teams for you to support, THERES ONLY ONE!
And why yes, The Screaming Eagles, Barra Brava, and La Norte all showed up to BMO for D.C. United vs. The Flying Cushions. D.C. United has always had great attendance, and unlike you johnny-come-latelies we actually helped BUILD this league from nothing. So don't give us any attendance garbage, United Supporters have ALWAYS been here en masse, and always will be. No 1 or 2 season ticket holders who are going to desert once they realize what a truly mediocre squad they have. The sound at RFK has always been considered the closest rival to BMOs, and once we get an actual SSS meant to keep in sound like BMOs we'll see who's the rowdiest. (Hint hint, MANY were the time that you could hear the DCU supporters over the TFC supporters during that game)

if every major city in canada had a mls team. every game would be sold out. 100%
and watch. within the next 5-7 yrs canada will be getting more mls teams.
everytime i see mls highlights. its empty stadiums.
i think its kinda sad that what is needed is a modern day football god to fill the seats in america
t.o. is filled up no matter what........

One: I don't doubt Canada will get more teams, I fully support it myself. Will they put up TO numbers? I doubt it, I guess that's something to be proud of for your home town.
As for attendance, and supporters, quit being ignorant, the fact of the matter is D.C. has always put up strong numbers, we've just never had an SSS. Our lower decks are constantly filled however. Not to mention the game at BMO with the second highest (down from capacity by only 12) was versus D.C. United. Loyal fans, WAY loyal fans, who turn out everywhere, whether its 500 miles away or 3000 miles.
Finally: stats for thought

Both 8 games, with one international friendly thrown TFC's way, as well as a gimme for the Chicago game. All fair? Here's where it gets interesting
Population of Washington, D.C. - 581,530 (5,290,400 Metro) SOURCE
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Washington%2C_D.C.)
Population of Toronto, Ontario - 2,503,281 (5,555,912 Metro) SOURCE (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toronto)
TFC Average Percentage of Population in Attendance - 0.79%
TFC Average Percentage of Population in Attendance (Metro) - 0.35%
DCU Average Percentage of Population in Attendance - 3.04%
DCU Average Percentage of Population in Attendance (Metro) - 0.33%
Take whichever number you want, in our 12th season, we are only .02% (with Toronto having a 5% greater population) behind the attendance of a larger market. I'd love to revisit this in Toronto's 12th season, when there are other MLS teams in Canada.
Also: The 'Smaller Stadium' argument fails. BMO has only hit capacity once, twice if you accept the gimme I threw out. Conversely, DCU attendance has surpassed 20,195 twice.
