Aberdeen v Inverness CT
Dundee Utd v Hamilton Academical
Celtic v Hearts
Motherwell v Rangers

wicked. think i'll head along too, if i can make it, four weeks away. fairly happy with the draw.

poor hamilton being drawn against dundee utd away, i'm sure they'll hold their own tho:cool:

good to see at least one north east team will be in the semi final. granted i think it'll be aberdeen... rangers probably gonna crash n burn at fir park too. celtic safely into semis;)

Haha, Jimmy, Inverness is classed as the west of Scotland mate.. :D I know its disputable, but honest pal, if you look on a map its nowhere near the east coast!!! ;)

Good draw all the same.

Will be interested to see how Motherwell do against the Currant Buns, because the tore us to shreds at Easter Road on Wednesday night. :(

Also, a repeat of the league performance for the Tims against the Maroon Balloons would be nice. :D

Mind you, why do I care - it's a diddy cup anyway!

that said, the hibees result came as a bit of a heart attack, didnt realise hibs were out, shame, would've liked some form of vengence for last weekend! at least there's always the home game which'll come round soon enough.

dunno what i'm looking forward to more, going to celtic vs ac milan next week... or the possibility of going to see celtic give hearts a good grubbin' :D

hibby, do you goto much games? don't suppose you know a guy by the name of alan duncan.. aged about 21.. used to live up north briefly, think he still might?

hibby1875
28-09-2007, 05:00 AM
Yeah 404, long time season ticket holder for the East Terrace, go to every home game, not been to many away games in recent seasons apart from Hampden.

As for Alan Duncan, unfortunately it doesn't ring any bells.
Mind you, I'm one of the old crowd now I suppose, all over 35 and desperately fighting the inevitable creeping disease that is codgerism (ie. just going to the match to moan at your own team constantly and piss off the poor folk around you.)

I'll try and keep an ear open for his name though, tell him his mate's spending half his time talking pish on football forums! :D

Geography not your strong point Seany?
Inverness is on the east coast, right on the shores of the Moray Firth, which runs into the North Sea - no one would class it as being on the west, thats fecking ridiculous!

Hopefully we'll give Aberdeen a good humping, it's our turn to beat them and we're on good form just now... :)

Well, if you divide the country in 2 its further West than East. I never said it wasnt North. I have family up there and they say its the West.

Thats a nice West of Scotland accent you have caleythistleineurope, although u should know

Btw... I never said anything about the coast.

but in the spl Forum it's definetly barking up the wrong box.

I'm assuming you're not Scottish or have the ability to use Google, because 'Location = Leith' is way more specific than 'Location = Caravan'. :p

BTW, I thought all the rest of you were lassies in the Scottish forum anyway? ;)

PS: the definition of frigging in the Urban Dictionary, which is guaranteed always totally accurate, is:

frigging

This is a term to describe when a male monkey is unable to produce sperm anymore. It occurs annually in the southern hemi-sphere in the lush rainforests. It is a spectacle that is rarely witnessed by humans.

Zoo-keeper: "aww damnit" Mr Monk Monk ain't frigging anymore, guess there ain't gonna be baby monkeys this year..."

Now it all makes sense......:D

PM me your address Seany and Ill send you a compass, just in case you're ever far north and east enough to compare...:D

I've lived here all my life and if anyone said to me they thought they lived on the west I would rip the pish right out of them, absolutely NO ONE classes Inverness as being west!

PS Ever been north of Perth?

I think the confusion is related to the fact that they were still looking the Celtic Ball.

jimmy
01-11-2007, 08:30 PM
Scottish Parliament presiding officer Alex Fergusson mixed up the numbers, and miscalled the ties when the four balls were drawn.

self explanatory, non?

good draw. will be good to see either aberdeen or dundee utd in a cup final for a change.. hearts second cup final in three years on the horizon, nae bad:) when were rangers last cup final? pmsl

I believe what your speaking about was this (http://63.247.68.125/forum/showpost.php?p=885799&postcount=18) which was harmless banter on the forum, which you took over the top.

If yer gonnae poke fun at the Celtic, make sure nobody can poke fun at what your trying to say, it helps ;)
