I hear many times about him but at the same time i donīt hear nothing about him.

He is a great player and it should be good (well for him) that you don't know that much about him. Just go on Youtube and type in Samir Nasri. I think he should stay in France for the time being as going to a big club so young will put way to much pressure on him.

Nasri, I'll give you one clue.

He has d'odor of Arjen Robben, with a mix of failure similar to Scott Parker.

He's a good playmaker and can go on to be a special player, but overall his club is struggling this year - perhaps that's why there's not so much attention at the moment. Looks to be France's long-term replacement as playmaker for Zidane (instead of Ribery, as he was wrongly tagged after the World Cup).

ribery is going to be a force to recon with on the international level, he doesn't light up as much for his club, but for country, he brings a whole new passion to the game. he's going to develop nicely and maybe be like Zidane but can't replace zidane because there can be only one Zizou and none like him lol

Nasri seems to have lots of talent dribbling, but he's not to good at finding the back of the net. Maybe he'll mature he's still young. But I don't think he's anything compared to Barca youngsters (but that might be a bit biased:p)

i havent heard much about him on media.

but what i have seen of him he seems like a decent player.

i can see why he might be down as a possible world class player. but i think he is a player who could stay as he is as well as anything else. the only thing that can let him down is his mentality.

I would say that he's the top three young French player in Ligue 1 alongside lyon's tricky winger Ben Arfa and lyon's young marksman Benzema. :)

this three players should be in the list for euro08 epscially Benzema looking at his current explosive form

Benzema and Nasri should be in the Euro 08 french team. As for Benarfa, it's a whole different story. He's at a position where Rothen and Malouda are the more efficient ones, so it'll be tough for him.
The only reason you haven't heard about Nasri this year is:
a) Marseille had a horrible start this season but all that changed since Eric Gerets came on
b) Nasri got injured three times an missed around 15 games, and had a meningitis-like virus in the fall.
But don't worry, he's better now and everybody knows he's destined to go play in Madrid. He has the same agent as Zidane who is his mentor as a fellow marseillais. he'll stay in marseille some more and then go in Italy or Spain.

I played this guy online (FIFA08 XBOX360) who used Marseille (I was Portsmouth) and he used Nasiri and Cissie to great effect...for what that's worth:p

Well if it 's in the game ..."It's in THE GAME!":D
Having said that, I have watched Nasri play and I think he is good. Although he may not be a first stringer for the NT yet...I think in a few years he will be.
And for that matter, I love to watch Cisse play...when he is in the lineup something interesting seems to always happen.

i think Nasri's an extremely good passer of the ball...he can't score too freely yet and is a bit slow, IMO but he's got time, he's only 20...i like the way he turned down speculation about him leaving - 'it would be madness for me to leave France now, i still have to prove myself here'...have a bit of respect for him after that...

Samir Nasri would sign today for Arsenal for a value around 15 M€ !

If its confirmed today, i dont see Nasri to play in that league.

The game is so strong for his jig.

Wait & See, confirmation in a few hours :o

Arsenal have the skills to prepare youngster for the high tempo Premier League, so I'm not worried if he passes the fitness tests.
It will be great for Arsenal and may allow a more playmaker role for Valbuena at Marseille, so all benefits for the French team in a few years ???

Thats what they said about Hleb and Reyes, but Arsenal's coaching staff are brilliant in toughning a player up so that he can get through the physical nature of the league..

too bad Reyes didn't have the mental strength to stay - we could have used a player like him this season :(. in the end physical ability is just one part of the equation - look at Julio Baptista...
