PSG - Valenciennes

PSG, @ 2,0, Centrebet, 5/10

PSG finally won at home at the weekend and it has boosting effect for sure. So, they are going in ideal moment into this match. There is no doubt about their motivation IMO, as the league season is over for them and this Cup competition means another chance. The squad is without problems.
Valenciennes are playing surprisingly well, but unfortunatelly only at home. Their record at away is poor.

I feel difference in motivations and another important factor deciding this match should be actual euphoria in home team. Good luck:)

Lyon losing right now to Le Mans:(. And Perrin has a strong squad out. Too bad. Benzema had some great chances. Guess no quadruple :p for us.

Well the round of 16 is now set in stone..... Some upsets in the last round, and there looks to be a guarantee of at least 3 non-Ligue 1 teams in the quarterfinals; possibly more should Bastia continue their ways by beating Paris SG. Bordeaux-Lille and Lyon-Sochaux are the big matches of this one- Bordeaux has not won the competition since 1987 and Sochaux are last year's winners, beating Marseille on penalties in the final. Marseille have a contrasting fixture vs the cinderella story from this year's edition, Carquefou, an amateur side from the French 5th division.
The other fixtures have three lower-league matchups; Sedan-Angers (both Ligue 2), Dijon-Tours (Ligue 2 and Division 3 respectively) and Amiens-Arles (Ligue 2 and Division 3 respectively).
The last non-Ligue 1 side to win the cup is Le Havre, in 1959. Others have come close since, notably fourth division side Calais in 2000 (losing to Nantes 2-1), and second division side Amiens, losing after a penalty shootout to Strasbourg in 2001.
Lorient and Metz, last in Ligue 1 with only one win from 23 matches, play in the other fixture. The matches will be played on March 18/19.

Anyone know why frech club shirts have 'Pitch' on the back, instead of the players name?

Does this only happen in the cup (I'm watching PSG v Lyon final right now) and I was wondering about the pitch thing.

I think it's cause Pitch is the official sponsor for the cup games?
