Australia held to a 1-1 draw against melbourne victory. What a dismal result. I realise it was only a training game but we had better get our act together before the qatar game. I believe the A-League players are not up to this challenge and we need to get the european based players back as soon as possible. I believe ben buckley has done nothing for australian football. He sat on his hands after the 2006 world cup and kept graham arnold at the helm to save money. Now we are suffering with limited preparation for the 2010 qualifiers. Another problem is the lack of cooperation from the european based players clubs to release them for these vital games. If it was england or any other nation i am sure they would jump through hoops to get their best players available for the crucial games. The FFA is a toothless tiger and has no clout in the football world. Well thats my say. Had to get that off my chest. Let me know what you guys think.
