if anyone needed any more reasons to watch Serie A and the best football in the world...:) we sure had some stunners in this round, some really great goals.
in no particular order, and if anyone has any vids feel free to post em up
1. Houssine Kharja Siena (on loan from Roma i believe) - very nice strike low and to the corner from maybe about 24 m out
2. Amauri Palermo - what a curler around Buffon into the side netting for his first of the match with Juve, one of those shots that tbh, no keeper in the world can save
3. Mattia Cassani Palermo - what a game winner from him, had Buffon rooted to the spot, not sure if he is left footed or not, but sure looked like it coming off of that strike
4. Ronaldo Bianchi Lazio - right in the center of the pitch, maybe 25 out puts a boot on it into the top right corner, perhaps the Bianchi Man City was always waiting for
5. Kaka Milan - Kaka opened up the scoring in the 8th minute dribbling through the Cagliari defense and putting one away low in the left corner past Storari from outside the box
6. Adrian Mutu Fiorentina - a late goal with the left foot blasted into the net after a nice flick to open up the space in the box
7. Mirko Vucinic Roma - best of the best imo, being completely bias:o but it was outside of the box, left footed, and not looking. dipped right into the side/top corner over Rubinho
if dribbling is more your preference, check out Inzaghi of Milan going around Cagliari's keeper Storari, or Balotelli of Inter maneuver Atalanta's keeper to secure Inter's 2-0 win.
Juan Vargas with Catania's 3rd can get an honorable mention, tho he whiffed the first attempt:o, he buried the second from close range but it was a blast through traffic
Christian Maggio of Samp's was also a nice shot, again from close range but he took it from the volley and tucked it in the corner
just an awesome weekend of goals, i would say probably the best all year so far. almost every game had either a match winner, or a stunner, or some beautiful dribbling
