Internazionale's president has hinted that coach Roberto Mancini may be on his way out following the side's shock UEFA Champions League exit to Villarreal.
President Giacinto Facchetti and Inter fans reacted angrily to the performance, which saw their side crash out 1-0 in Spain.
Supporters complained to the team at Valencia and at Milan's airport for not putting up a fight and Facchetti has echoed their views.
He said: "It's incredible that only in the last five minutes did the team show any sort of reaction.
"I don't want to talk about singular players and I don't want to make any predictions for the future because when we do we fail.
"I will talk with Mancini in the next few days even if I don't decide to change everything again."
Mancini was visibly disappointed after the game and took sole responsibility for the display.
"We didn't do enough. We had to score a goal to go through, and we didn't do it, but my guys did their best.
"We had a good chance to get to the semi-final and Villarreal aren't any better than us. I'll have to evaluate things.
"I think the coach must take responsibility for what happens. The responsibilities are mine."
