I was wondering what you could tell me about Ali Modir-Rousta?

He's completeing a PhD. in my chemistry dept and I hear he was a good player for Iran. I don't know much about him but have talked with him a few times and he's a really nice guy.

I have seen that. It doesn't give a lot of information though. How big is Football in Iran? There's another Iranian in our department but I feel odd asking her about him. Most players in Canada are anonymous to the average Joe. I was just wondering if he'd be a household name or anything like that.

He is currently coaching Peykan, Iranian Premiere league and did very very well in the mid-season and his team is 4th, while they were on top of the league for sometime then they fell down.
But he is a very good coach and young one with future.
