Also who says he wants to play for the USMNT? Maybe he wants to get Vietnamese citizenship and play for Vietnam? Playing for HAGL would certainly make that a possibility.

Or is he already cap-tied to the US?

I finally woke from my 2 years slumber

Since then, Lee switched from HAGL to 'Chelsea of Vietnam' Becamex Binh Duong, where he suffered what some feared to be a career ending injury. He took a long hiatus, almost a year, before surfacing again by signing with the Vancouver Whitecaps. They waived him before the start of the 2012 MLS season and was picked up by the Revolution. As of today, he has 3 appearances with the Revs and seems to have found this place in the Revs organization, coming off the bench. phew..
