what a match! sorry for AFK. i wrapped myself in a blanket at HT because it was cold and never left that state
we were always dangerous everytime on the attack. in the past its always been all possession but no bite. not today!
defensively we weren't 'too' bad. the morimoto goal was miles offside. and for caracciolo's goal, de rossi got too easily outjumped, but he's not a centerback anyway and we all know that.
boy are we going to have some real selection problems next match. so many good performers today

a fight on for 3rd and 4th now!
Lazio on 51, Napoli and Udinese on 48, us surging on 47, and Inter on 44, even Catania on 43 in there.
lets push on, from those teams, to be honest I think we are the best in form team, given Lazio and Napoli starting to falter, and Udinese struggling alooot.
have some tough teams left, but we have to push for the CL

this is why we are who we are.
5-2, then this unacceptable worst perfromance of the season.
anyone can explain how we would give up this many goals to a team like Lecce because I cant other than lack of motivation. given the fact that Enrique JUST said the RESULTS matter as opposed to the PERFORMANCE.
so awesome that there was NO result today and our PERFORMANCE was utter SHIT.

my prediction for the end of this season
1st Milan
2nd Juve
3rd Udinese 65 points
4th Roma 63 points (better head-to-head over Napoli)
5th Napoli 63 points
6th Lazio 62 points
7th Catania
8th Inter 51 points
i honestly think we can get 3 points in each of our home games for the rest of this season (Fiorentina, Napoli, and Catania). Fiorentina and Catania are shit away teams and Napoli's rarely a threat to us at the Olimpico. that and their lack of depth always catches up to them at the end of the season. players get tired and complacent
however, our away form has been iffy and i'll have to concede a loss to Juve, a definite 3-point win against 20th place Cesena, and an optimistic win against Chievo (although I could see us drawing against them, which would put us in 6th =[)
udinese have an easier set of games than us for the rest of the season but with their shit away form (their away form is worse than ours!), i can only see chievo causing udinese any real problems

haha its too true! you couldnt find a more inconsistent side in Italy over the past ten years. so frustrating. and adding in Enrique's style is a real issue adding to why we dont always pick up results.
i mean, 5-2 Novara, and then 4 straight goals given up v Lecce, and then 3-1 v 3rd place chasing Udinese...
its why Roma never wins Scudetti.

this is when i do get a bit frustrated with Enrique.
All week, its " well play to win, going to fight, blah blah"
but then game time comes, Totti, Lamela, on the bench, Borini back in straight after injury, Kjaer on which guarantees we start down a goal, and Perrotta his first league start.
seems to me its " we knew we would lose this one, lets focus on the remaining games"
sigh. proper credit to Conte, and Juve. they have been a force and showed how much stronger they are than us, particularly marking out our horrible defense.
completely took us out of our possession game, and solidly dealt with any minimal threats we imposed.
all that before the red card. embarrassing.
one team superior, the other clearly inferior.
