was always going to be hard for our beloved benfica after the loss of players with who we grew, as a nation, to cherish and idolize as one.

bring on next season. the wrongs of this season cannot be undone, unfortunately, however there is still hope that justice shall be restored next season

A year later and Porto is still champion. The quality of our football was below par, we weren't as exciting as usual but the climb to the top was great.

Mid February we were 5 points behind Benfica and 3 games away from having to play on their ground. We arrived at their stadium on par and won the match placing ourselves 3 points clear.

We then won away to Braga in what was a very difficult match, so all in all when push came to shove we proved that we have the stuff champions are made of.
