The Rising Sun site is the best English-language J-League site I have ever come across...cheers!
(My S-Pulse have fallen out of the sky once again...)

One of the things I regret not doing when I was in Japan 2 summers ago, was going to watch a J-League game. I went with a friend who wasn't terribly into football (and also that Japan as a country is rather expensive).

Really enjoyed the game this morning between Kawasaki and Vegalta Sendai. The Sendai fans were amazing and in the last 20 minutes really deserved the win.
Good piece on the restart of the J-League here http://bit.ly/e1ySl8 got me in the mood for it anyway

Naoki Matsuda (34) has dropped dead of a heart attack during a training match. He was a former Japan intl and played in WC 2002
You gotta wonder if steroids or other PED's are playing a part in these sudden heart attacks.
Seemingly healthy 34 year-olds dont just drop dead like that.
