Oh aye, totally mate. Just cos I (or any other Scotland supporters) think they're rubshigash, giuys like Black & McAllister will be a lot nearer the top of the SFA list than the ones the bookies will be touting at there mug customers.
How about Bryan Gunn, Darren Ferguson, Paul Dickov, Derek McInnes - all guys who could be tempted I'm sure.
My new favourite candidate is, wait fer it.........
TERRY FUCKIN BUTCHER!!!!
Hoping the bigwigs see sense & appoint this genius (sorry again caleythistleineurope ), he's about as much Scots as half the boys that play in the current squad fer starters.

english: How the BBC Scotland reports to Lothar Matthaus have registered interest in the items of the Scottish national team. The Scottish FA is looking for a successor to the recently released Craig Levein. However, the favorites coming from the home. The management of the German international's record was at the Scottish Football Association approached after Levein was released two weeks ago, reports BBC Scotland. Scotland is in Group A of the World Cup qualifiers after four games is just two points in the bank and the last place. Matthew, who had missed with Bulgaria to qualify for the Euro 2012 belongs, according to the BBC but not the favorites for the job. Currently without clubs Scottish manager Gordon Strachan is a potential candidate, even Joe Jordan and Owen Coyle will be given opportunities. Stefan Petri

tempted to throw some on lothar.
donnae rate anyone else too highly, some jokes in aboot for sure so if nae lother give joe a chance. reckon he's got the right mentality for it n if steve clarke can do it w/ wba give jordan the chance to do it too, just for fucks sake play with a little emphasis on outscoring the opponent
donnae even give a shit if it means resorting to wutever tactics, scotland has the players and there's too many folks outstaying their time or just aren't simply good enough

Totally shocked to see that Eriksson is considered for the job, we have had enough boredom so far with levein.
I would not go for anyone from Engerland either.
The most baffling thing to me is that Collins is 50/1. I used to rate him quite highly as manager. I know he´s been out of business of late but we have little to lose at this point. Failing that, I´d consider Cioyle as well even if he did choose Ireland instead of Scotland as a player.
PS: Perhaps Collins had some problems with players in the past maybe. I seem to remember that he did not get on well with players while at Hibs.

Ye thought right my good man, there wis indeed a player revolt in his days as Hibs manager. Also, apparently the first thing he did when introduced tae the Hibs team wis lift up his shirt & show them his rock-hard abs (which wis the 1st step tae the formerly mentioned revolting I reckon). Mmmmm, 50/1 seems about right imo.
Sven must have pished away all that lovely lolly he scammed off the English FA, because he wilny be gettin anythin near that ballpark wae Scotland (or better no be anyway!).
