top 3 signings this summer. aberdeen lacked width last season and they were bossing it up against RossCo last weekend something stupid, expecting this time next year craig frown and archie the bear tae be preppin' themselves for champions league play off qualification!

quite annoyed tuffey is yet again sitting wasting away on another SPL subs bench. rate him as one of the best in the country (even siince firhill days) yet he seems content to play the deputy which is fair enough i guess, but he could be doing so much more

reminds me of tomas cerny, only taken him 4 and a half months to find his next paycheck after ripping up his contract @ hamilton, ended up in bulgaria, more the power to him, quality keeper

gotta say though. the tim clancy switch caught me off guard, dunno wha he's on, but i'll have some of the same!

“It is thought this has something to do with Alan’s lifestyle. For whatever reasons there may have been deep concerns about that but he shared a similar lifestyle to Neil and with him.”

Last March I was having a couple of drinks at the hotel bar in Dundee the night before the United v Celtic cup tie and I saw a few strange things that caught my eye. Thompson, Myallby and Lennon with a fourth person were playing cards in a table near the corner and at the other end three ladies looking for don´t know what were staying in another table.

Suddenly one of the girls disappeared for a few minutes while Thompson did the same. He came back a short space of time later and as he did pass by my side, he was staring at the other girls. Less than half and hour later the sequence was repeated only for the rest of cards players apparently showing some disconfort at him for going missing for so long.

All very strange.

Surely it´s not the women´s bodies the ones buried.

Is that a massive exodus or just usual business?

Eh? I'm sure I have no idea what you're on about mate.

I suppose I could've posted Hearts new strip instead:

Looks like it doesn't it, I suppose for most clubs it is. With the exit of Rangers & the drop in TV money since - plus a general tightening of belts across the board for obvious financial reasons.

I'm glad of it, it means a knock-on effect of the increase in use of youth players - and not just on the bench as in previous seasons but actually playing in games. It also means less 'I'm just here for the wages & a shop window' types of players than usual. It also should be like that in Scotland, we're known for our cannyness after all!

To be fair Hibs have been one of the most active in bringing in new players/ loans but with Fenlon in his first full season in charge & some serious changes required after last season's shitfest I'll give us a break. Nice of me, eh?

In Paul Cairney, Hibs have made one of the best possible signings by a SPL club this summer. I´m sure he will be a hit among the fans from the word "go". Only problem is that he´ll probably end up at Celtic just like many other did before.

Haven´t Celtic signed an Algerian/French player this weekend?

I agree about Cairney, looks a great player to enhance our midfield. Gary Deegan is a guy who is very similar in physique (both have the 'Dalglish erse' )& playing style too, good signing so far. It's a wee bonus that we signed Cairney from Partick, my wee mammy's team!

Regards the Celtic signing, it's still up in the air (in an entertaining way ) according to the Daily Reweedge.

When Wallace, Templeton and Black all got together like that I had a laugh myself.

I agree. With Boca and Goian going off on loan it means we'll be using some of our youngsters in the back 4. They've shown promise in the past and I'm glad they'll finally get some time in, even if it is in SFL3.
