Serie A 2008/2009 Sack Race!
Stole the idea from the EPL thread.
Who do you think will be the first coach to get sacked?
I'm betting the farm on Stefano Colantuono.

Maybe he'll get the sack for another reason. They are selling some of their best players, and managers always get the blame when things go wrong, even though in Italy at least the owners are largely responsible.

I bet Ranieri, as he has plenty of talents to manage, and Juve is still recovering from last season. I mean, they usually play for the very first rankings.
If he quickly looses some points, I think he can be sacked, as Lippi is free now for some while

That was fun, while it lasted.
Di Natale has a good game and a coach gets fired. Yeesh.

Yeah and I'll bet he'll reinstate the coach later on in the season. He's such a fucktard.

From Zamparini's wiki:
Zamparini is widely known in Italian football for his alleged lack of patience and proneness to sack head coaches. He fired a total of 26 head coaches since his enter into football in 1987, fifteen at Venezia and seven at Palermo, with the latest being Francesco Guidolin, which Zamparini had sacked already 3 times before, on March 24, 2008. Ironically, the sacking of Guidolin meant the return of Stefano Colantuono, who had already been sacked by Zamparini on November 26, 2007.

How on earth do you sack one coach three times? That's just beyond me. If the coach doesn't get the job done one time, what makes him think that later in the season things have changed that much... Has any coach managed to stay at the club for one full-season under Zamparini?
I wonder how Davide Ballardini will last. He did wonders with Cagliari last season, we'll see how he does at Palermo. I believe Zamparini's expectations are too high yet again and he won't last till the end of the season.
