2 more down.
nothing unusual here for Italy after 8 weeks. the merrygoround continues, where the small clubs think they will be able to find a Mimmo Di Carlo or Giampaolo or Allegri out of the mix of mediocre coaches available.
Bologna sack Papadoupolo, replace him with Colomba and Cosmi takes over at Livorno

Giampaolo out at Siena...
i feel for the guy..he made his voice known in the summer when Siena sold off Kharja and Zuniga et al and never really replaced them with anyone.

Zamparini at it again. sacked Zenga today
now i cant stand Zenga, but dont think he deserved the sack, Palermo werent going to be a Europe squad, but Zamp wants them to be, so its going to be hard for anyone who steps in (presumably Delio Rossi)
who would want that job, i have no idea Zenga should have stayed with Catania and the faith they showed in him
they should also bench Pastore who is a major disappointment imo

Shouldn't this thread be closed by now. It's about last season.

we just kept it rolling instead of creating a new Serie A manager thread.
Rossi confirmed as Palermo's new Mister, any bets on how many months he makes it? (realistically until the end of the year i would think, but not more than 2 years)
Malesani in at Siena, they should have gone to Beretta again, they probably will be relegated.

I say Delio Rossi won't last long and Zamparini will bring Zenga back before the end of the season.

or Ballardini when Lazio sack him.
the thing is, in a behavioral history manner- why would anyone work for this idiot? no wonder Palermo cant create any stability, constantly pursuing Europe, and yet Zamparini fires so many managers. with the likes of Kjaer, Miccoli, Cavani, Simplicio, Rubinho, Amelia, Liverani, Bovo, Cassani, Balzaretti, even going back to Grosso, and Toni, and yet they cant get a manager to stay for more than basically a season because of him.
this will continue until managers out of work (aka, Rossi et al) say, Fuck no, im out of work, yes. however, theres no point in working for Zamparini because you drop points in 3 matches or so and your sacked.

The guy has lost his mind. But the team has underachieved.
