Default Liga Sagres Winter Transfer Rumors

FC Porto Interested in Maritimo's Djalma

The player spoke with TSF, and is saying that for now only wants to "continue to work so that things can happen naturally."

What is certain is Djalma would never disdain an invitation from FC Porto, even if his sympathy belongs to Benfica, the club where his father played, Abel Campos.

"I have no preference, it would be fantastic to play in any of the "big three". I feel sympathy for Benfica, because my father played there, but I am a professional and would never refuse a proposal because of that."

I haven't heard to much on Djalma, but the only player thats been linked with us closely is Cissokho, which we do need a left back which has been a problem. I've been impressed with his speed and how well he can control the ball.

Jesualdo said that he was hoping to pick up 3 players...

I badly want to see Ibson rejoin us, he was never given a chance and has improved quiet a lot in Brasil. A Bola reported that we rejected a 4 mil euro offer from Flamengo just a few days ago.

Yeah Ibson would be a great return for Porto considering his form in Brazil but I don't think Jesualdo cares for Brazilians much. Then again Hulk is Brazilian and he's been outstanding for Porto. Tough to call but no question Ibson has been very very good in Flamengo.
