Not yet, largely because he was not granted Italian citizenship until mid-2008. He has 15 U-21 caps and 6 goals.

Then I'd have to assume that you haven't seen him play very many times. He has composure well beyond his years. I think his bad attitude helps give him the confidence to do all the good things he does on the pitch.

Like I said only watch Serie A when I have the time, I'd say I've watched him play maybe 10 times and never seen him scored. I've seen petulant behaviour and some dirty rough play from him and thats about it. Maybe a good run or two.

If he is as good as people are saying, and as good as Eto'o and Ibrahimovic say then I hope the lad knuckles down and becomes more humble and behaves.

I'm with you there. I've been watching a lot more Inter since Eto'o moved there and he needs to be more a lot consistent. Talent isn't everything. Fabregas got into the arsenal 1st team at 17 because he was consistent in his performances.

I've seen flashes of brilliance from him, like the hattrick he scored last season and didn't celebrate that red_ed mentioned. But we need more consistency. Wenger was able to do it for Sagna so maybe he can do it for Balotelli. But 20 million for an unproven youngster is a bit much. Maybe the world cup can do for him what Euro 2004 did for Rooney i.e. make him worth 24m

TBH, one of the best CF's I have ever seen. Unfortunately he has been brought up thru the Inter ranks and has the attitude to prove it. If he actually stayed focused and calm he could be one of the greatest all time strikers the world has seen. If he one day manages to move to a real club and take on a proper work ethic he will be devastating. I don't think England is right for him, but Arsenal and Wenger would be the best choice if he had to move to the EPL. Hopefully he stays in Italy or Spain but I doubt Inter will ever sell him.

He's strong, he knows how to protect the ball, it's almost impossible to take the ball away from him, he's fast, tall, sadly when you take the ball away from him, or over run him, he will probably kick you from behind, or some stupid shit like that.

That's the whole problem with this guy, but I think if he leaves Italy, he could become one of the best in the world imo. It's sad to say it, but the fact that he plays in Serie A is the only problem.

Well lets hope he knuckles down and behaves in what is a world cup year. If he has all this talent you have been talking about he must have good chance of playing for Italy in the WC2010 if he really works hard, behaves and is humble.

Rumor has it Eto'o, Appiah and Muntari are close to convincing him..

"After the World Cup draw I'll go to Europe. I have a series of meetings planned with my players in the European (domestic) championship and my intention is to speak with Balotelli," Rajevac told Gazzetta dello Sport "I'm happy with the strikers I have but Balotelli has exceptional qualities. Who wouldn't want someone like that? He's young, he plays in a big team and he's very, very good."
