Potentially a top forward. Has a bit of the Rooney about him - will bulldoze through you and constantly work the front line. But seems to be much more petulant than Rooney ever was. Which I can only imagine would've been weeded out if he had stability around him (rather than the circus that has been, and to a certain extent, still is Inter).

Ok I really like the look of this guy now after having watched his cameo apperance against chelsea.
The lad has such good technique and skill and touch. He is so measured in everything his does, is a great dribbler, the electricty he invoked in the atmosphere amoung the home crowd when he got the ball at his feet, the air of expectancy. The lad's gonna be class.
Only thing I didn't like was his Ronaldinho-like behaviour when he lost the ball i.e. just stand around cos it's someone elses job to win it back.
But from watching him in the few minutes he was on the pitch against Chelsea, you can tell that this guy is gonna be a star.

Why do people care if he tracks back or not ffs? Just track the full back and job done, he done exactly that when he came on.
Anyway, what's all the fuss about? Well he has a great frame, he's powerful, has great technique, and is a lethal finisher.

you mean people like his own manager?
perhaps because when Mario plays on the wing, he plays ala Dinho and doesnt help out the defense at all. something that Jose cant stand.

I seriously don't think he's gonna get the right attention from the Inter management. He's ready to be a star today. But you have Milito, Eto'o (who I see leaving after this year) and now Pandev who has been amazing. Balotelli should be playing striker. I think he might have to be sold.

That is by far a scapegoat. He is hated more for his behaviour and attitude than the colour of his skin. People forget that before he ever played professionally in Italy Matteo Ferrari and Fabio Liverani (two black players) had worn the national shirt.
