heres how it plays out:
last 10 matches (
kaku, just putting all 3 clubs in here as you did with Milan in the clubhouse...)
Milan Napoli Palmero Inter
Roma Udinese
Parma Milan
Inter Livorno Bologna Roma
Milan Lazio Roma Inter
Roma Inter
Cagliari Milan
Inter Bologna Bari Roma
Milan Catania Fiorentina Inter
Roma Atalanta
Samp Milan
Inter Juventus Lazio Roma
Palermo Milan
Inter Atalanta
Roma Samp
MilanFiorentina Lazio Inter Parma Roma
Genoa Milan
Inter Chievo
Roma Cagliari
Milan Juventus Siena Inter Chievo Roma
Each club has 5 home matches left, but Roma have the derby as well, so
we wont have to travel for 3 weeks.
Each club hit pretty hard with injuries down the stretch
On paper, i reiterate on paper....Roma look to have the easiest last 10 matches. no Milan, Fiorentina, Napoli, Palermo, Juve. only the Inter match and Samp that are
paper competition. every other match should be a win. then again, so should have Livorno today...
thats a rough stretch for Milan with Napoli, Juve, Fiorentina, Genoa, Samp left in there...
i was also thinking how unlikely it all would be. think of it:
If Inter win again, they were expected too, but they will be doing it losing what most people (myself included) felt was what won them all those titles...Ibrahimovic. its also yet to be seen what they do in the CL, so considering their attention may or may not be solely placed on Europe, Mourinho would have weathered the storm again, particularly thru the most difficult period while on the Inter bench. (the last 5 or so draws, Catania loss, the media, the suspensions, v Samp with 9 men etc.)
If Milan win, they do it with not only a new coach. a FIRST YEAR coach, who barely made it to xmas, and who has been dealt a huge blow in losing Nesta, arguably their best player for the year. this also after a season where Berlusconi publicly declared not advocating signings, where Becks goes down for the season, and one with dropped points all over.
If Roma win

....they would do it after having Spalletti resign after 2 opening defeats, Ranieri coming back home and going (to this point) unbeaten since Oct. but without Totti most of the year (nothing new nowadays), not being able to field Vucinic, Totti, and Toni together yet, after winning in Turin for the first time since our last Scudetto, but with dropping points at minnows like Catania and Livorno.
i mean, its a crazy year when you look at things no? obviously im holding onto the .5 % chance Roma win, but i still feel its Inter's to lose. hoping for an exciting stretch the whole way tho, good luck to all!
