It is really disappointing and confusing how Rogerio coaches this team. They are struggling to beat the worse team in the league 1 x 0 (on a penalty goal no less) and he does not bring in Paulo Sergio. Very disappointed in this performance from Flamengo. If Marcelo Lomba was not on his game today, Flamengo would be losing this game, but there is still time, they might still lose.

Edit:
1 x 0, shitty performance, from a shitty lineup....but 3 points is 3 points.

I share your pain Similar thing with the Corinthians game. Oh they played well and had plenty of goal scoring chances, but in the end they won 1 - 0, not through the penalty they had, but with a deflection in the goal area, scored by Bruno Cesar. Enjoyed the match, but i expect them to get more goals when they have that many chances! Ronaldo was a no show, probably injured again. Must have hurt himself in a night club somewhere while a Brazil game was on during the World Cup. A lady boy may or may not have been involved

So after Paulo Sergio scored the winning goal against Botafogo 3 games ago...2 games, no play. Now it's revealed that they are sending him out on a one year loan to some crap team from Portugal (Estoril). It pisses me off, I would take him every day of the week over Diego Mauricio. Is he ever going to get a chance? It’s annoying. I'm angry. It's like what Ricardo Perrone (who runs the best blog about Brasilian Football on the net) said the other day, he said that in this age of football, players like Romario, Bebeto, and Zico would have never gotten the chance to play because of their size and the limited time given to players to mature and play on a regular basis.
Until Brasilian coaches wise up and start to put more emphasis on home grown talent these teams will never move forward.

Indeed. They've been talking about it since before the WC, and it's now official.
No numbers have been officially released, but word is that Palmeiras paid about 6M euros and his contract lasts 5 years.

Well, once again, we can't complain about Palmeiras' board. Kleber, Scolari and now Valdivia. They're certainly investing in the team and doing everything they can to put Palmeiras back in the winning ways. Now it's up to the squad to perform as expected of them.

I have a bright yellow #10 Valdivia jersey (the one as my avatar).. Looking forward to sporting it at the stadium sometime soon

Gilberto Silva in, Kleberson out. Makes sense, I like it, Zico doing his thing.

Yup, I read about it yeaterday but now Gilberto Silva posted in his twitter that the deal is not complete yet.

It's a swap between Flamengo and Panathinaikos, Silva for Kleberson. Silva has already agreed to terms with Flamengo, but Kleberson apparently still wants a bit more from the Greeks. But seems like it will happen indeed.
