i know its unfair in the distribution of tv money but it wont do a shit overall.
So I´ll tell ya what won´t do a shit: sitting idle watching how some pickpocket like Florentino (R.M chairman) or Rossell (Barça chairman) lifts your wallet and everyone else´s, that´s what they´re doing right now.

So what you argue are the same poor excuses Madrid & Barça fans give to justify the thievery they´re supporting. So don´t try to fool me, son.

Every football fan in Spain, except for Madrid & Barça ones, are aware of this and are losing interest by the thousand in Spanish mediocre league everyday. For us Betis & Sevilla fans, we are increasingly requesting of our managers to play both Barça and Madrid with juvenile and/or reserve teams. They´re gonna kick our asses anyway.

So let those two burglars (Florentino & Rossell) look for other countries for their teams to play. We Spaniards do not want or need them either
.

so let me guess this straight. the other la liga teams that can't compete because of poor management in the first place need to be helped and given more money?

Why do we think that will change anything? If they are being run by people who don't know what they are doing then how will money solve their problems. Getafe and Malaga got bought by the Oil Sheikhs. Malaga is in the top 6, while Getafe are in the bottom 4.

More money doesn't mean jack if you have no clue how to run a club. if anything, more money would lead to more silly spending or just paying off more debt and not doing anything good for the future of the team.

This thread should be merged with a similar thread in the EPL group about revenue distribution.

More broadly, I wonder if there's anything to be said for the current Spanish model in terms of developing the best national team. Certainly Barca and Madrid having all the money makes it easy for them to have all the Spanish NT players, and certainly having the NT play for the same club side is an advantage.

The money should be distributed equally. I don't care if you're Barcelona, Real Madrid, Betis, Valencia, Levante or whoever, those teams make up the league.

Maybe have something like whoever finishes in the top 4 that season gets a higher percentage (of the cut) next season or something (as a bonus), but to keep it the way it is now is a no-no. During the Barcelona/Osasuna game, the announcers said something like Osasuna spent a total of 2 million in the transfer market. How are they supposed to sign players with that much money?

So yeah, count me as one of those who thinks something needs to change when it comes to the TV money.
I'm sure you didn't mean a straight equal share per team, but perhaps a pecentage based system that uses league standings as a judge for who gets what percentage.

I'd be in favor of a percentage based system that is doled out over the course of the year, every 4 weeks whatever team is in 1st, gets first place money, 2nd, and so forth. I think it would really benifit smaller teams who can go on a run in the early season before either Barca or RMA get the title at the end. You could maybe make the monthly rankings worth half of the total pot, and the final end of season rankings worth the other half. Or perhaps go with a weighted system as each month gets worth more.

Or not. Just a thought.

None of this matters unless the terrible, corrupt, and inept people currently in power are stripped of their positions.

I think almost everyone, regardless of what club they support, knows that the current system is not advisable for the long-term health of Spanish football. And yet, there are short-sighted, egotistical chairmen and presidents who would rather take a bribe to fatten their own wallets by a little bit, than support a plan that would keep the league competitive for years to come... which in the end, probably makes everyone more money.

It is such a shame, because we are all being cheated (even those that think they might not be), and no one cares to do anything about it.
