They will now get some rest and must start fighting for the title again, so I believe things are going for better.
i agree with half what you say mate, but it is not beacuse "they used to play well' only, it is also due to the fact that juve intimidate all the smaller clubs in seria a , they just have a mental block over them, but in the Cl is diffrenet. juve cant win knock out stages very offen, cause they wait for other teams to make mistakes........., this is not good in CL as most of the teams are very good... but i can guarentee you that if the CL was a league only where you play home and away for the rest of the season (i.e. like seria a or la liga) juve will be top or second every season.................

I dont doubt the squad as a great team as they are but us fans want a CL title its 10 years now since we've won it and for many fans like myself thats too long for a club like Juve.

I still think that players need to be sold our squad is to old and slow which its alright in Serie A but come to the CL the pace is alot quicker and our players cant cope this was exploited against Arsenal and Werder which juve were very very very lucky to beat.

When you look at the starting 11 its a quality 11 but after that theres nothing really we have no attacking options in midfiled which we lacked in the 2nd leg vs Arsenal.

Mutu isnt a winger simple and it shows he needs to play upfront. Ibrah is to greedy and players for himself....If the midfield dont provide anything then Trez isnt effective. Like I said before either Viera or Emerson have to go simple as you cant expect to beat quicker teams playing 2 holding CM's it gives you nothing in attack.

The squad needs to be freshened up bring in some young blood with creative flair and pace.

Capello also has his pets in Emerson, Zebina and Ibrah if he picked players on form which he should be doing then Zebina wouldnt make the bench, Ibrah wouldnt be playing whole games and Emerson and Viera also would be spending more time on the pine as only one should be on the pitch at a time.

Del Piero should be starting...Chiellini and Balzaretti should be playing more given that there young and the future of Juve. Blasi given a chance along with Mutu being played upfront.

Viera was a waste of money we should have been trying to get a creative midfielder, a winger and defenders.

If i was to pick the team i'd be picking the following:

----Del Piero--------Trez----
-----------------------------
Zambrotta-Nedved-Viera-Camo
-----------------------------
Cheillini-Cana-Thruam-Balzaretti
------------------------------
-----------Buffon-------------

Capello in my mind is to single minded and good teams and managers will sus this out.

Its a classic case of "lets play bad and get rid of this twat coach" IMO.

What other reason can there be, so much class so little peformance

Ummm thats not a bad formation. I like the idea of Zambrotta being on the wing (I love how he delivers the ball, with either foot too).

The only change I would make to that would be to put Abbiati in goal. After he came back from his injury, Buffon has looked really afraid in goal and while everyone comments about his great saves, a lot of them are shoots that are almost straight at him (Arsenal-Juve, both legs.)

I keep remembering Abbiati's save of Totti's awesome free kick in Coppa Italia.

Ibrahimovic lost his creativity, speed, and his want. He used to dribbble the crap out of defenders. Now, he doesn't know how to pass the ball. Honestly, if he likes to fool around so much, he should play Mutu's position on the outside, because he can't score a wide open goal if his life depended on it and he could do with a little more space.

Future Formation if i were to choose who would play:

--------------Trezeguet

-----------Del Piero----Mutu

---Zambrotta---Emerson---Marcchioni

Chiellini---Canna---Thuram---Balzaretti

----------------Abbiati

We definetely need someone to replace Thuram. Nedved will probably be gone next year (hopefully). And Ibrahimovic would be warming the Bench until he learns how to play.

I heard a theory that Zlatan has lost his speed and controll because he gained too much muscles too fast. Well, the problem for Juve is that they can't score anymore, so put Zlatan on a diet and it will all be fine

i think the best ideas for juve is:
sell either emerson or veira coz only one is enough and i guess selling veira is better.
buy a fast left wing midfielder as christiano ronaldo or reyes or karimi
buy a better striker as toni or eto or henry
pllllllllaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyy with nedved as a playmaker in the center midfield, that is his beat place and he is the best inthis place
play with balzeretti instead of zebina and try to use chillnei more than that
try to play 4 3 3

he's been one of the few bright spots recently. best player in the second leg against arsenal (although he did get sent off) and is back in form. i think he has at least one good year left in him.

Are you crazy Nedved is one of the only players who give 110% game in game out. He might have been sent of in CL 2nd Leg but we was the only one who was commited and busted his ass.

Nedved is a LEGEND and any Juve supporter would agree...without Nedved Juve isnt the same...FORZA NEDVED

Right, but, he is getting old, and we don't have a replacement that would play his position. Mutu could do it, but he isn't fast enough. That and I feel that his energy should be spent up front, he could give that last push up front to any other striker (trezegol). As for Emerson and Vieira, I pretty neither will leave, but if one had to, I'd send Vieira packing. He is not as nimble as he was at the start of the season (like ibra). I agree with the post I read earlier that we have a bunch of players out of form (Buffon, Ibra, Thuram, Zebina, Camo, Vieira), but we have a few playing much better than at the start (Giannicheda, Mutu, DP).

Now, if only Capello would give OLIVERA a chance!
