Yeah I meant did anyone watch him against tottenham. Because I looked at the report and he came on around 60ish minutes but I didn't see anything of him on MOTD.

Its definitely good that theres more Egyptian players in the EPL I just hope he keeps up the relatively good name that Mido and Ghaly have made because then they'll get more and more Egyptians.

i think we have a strong chance, however we need to start bloding in the youbgsters now. hassan and saka aswell as other will be too old for the next world cup.

and look at egyptianplayers.com, they have a clip of mido and fathi having a light hearted joke together while about to be subbed on. mido did ok, fathi was average like any other player on the pitch

we actually have alot, the problem is the big clubs dont want to sell anyone, not the youngsters and not the national team players.

they are too rich to sell for money and there is no other real benefit from selling. if we had a poorer league you would see loads of player in europe.

take ramzy for instance, he rejected a move to reading for money in saudi arbia etc etc.

the only reason ghaly is at spurs is because he was rejected at youth level and now he has played for 2 top clubs. egypt dont lack the players, we just lak the common sense to sell players for their future and their sake and ther careers

Yeah thats definitly true. What pisses me off the most tho, is players that leave and come back, or clubs that try to buy them back.

Best example is Amr Zaki and Hosni Abd-Raboh. Both great players but they can't expect to leave and hit it off in one year, look how long Ghaly had to wait.

Especially Amr Zaki, that guy could be a monster in the PL, he's just a fool, making the easy decision.

amr zaki had a big big chance imo, he blew it

after the ACN he was hot property, blackburn, newcastle etc etc wanted him but he went to russia instead of waiting for 6 months.

Any news on Abutarika (cannot spell his name in Englsih lol) going to any European teams?

He did great in the World Club Championships; really contributed to Al Ahly's progression to 3rd place.
