Even as somebody "in the know" with BVB I had no idea Odonkor was getting the call.
And boy is he fast!!

Hopefully Klinsmann uses him like Sammer used to.
He'd bring him on in around the 75th minute when the defenders were beginning to get tired & they'd have no hope in hell of defending him.

i didnt know odonkor was german but i like that pick, very pacey. and i'm a bit confused w/the nowotny pick...

Odonkor played already for the U-youth squads.
Nowotny got good reviews in the few games he played. Wörns disqualified hisself in the press so the way for a new "oldie" was open. You probably know that he visited Klinsmann`s latest fitness test.
