Poll : Will Defoe Make A Good Signing?
Ok. Hmnnnn... I have never really liked him but I have seen him play only about 5 or 6 times. There are certain indications that he is inclined to join a "good club". What I really want to know is, will he make a good signing for a Premiership club?

I'm not so sure he has the mental drive and the work-ethic to be a regular starter in a top-5 club. Look at what he's done this year at Spurs... definitely not up to his potential.
I'd rather have Keane or even... Mido than Defoe. And it seems Jol agrees.

I agree! As I said I have seen him 5 or 6 six times but he is not good at all. I am only trying to analyZe why so many people like him.

Course he will , I can't beleive Walcott is being considered for England before Defoe.
Given the chance, Defoe plays and scores, he is a good player, I hope he leaves Spurs for either Newcastle or Liverpool, I'd love that.

well maybe as a reserve striker for liverpool or a similar team but not quite sure if that is what they want. defoe is not very consistent for me. he is only good at times and that is not good enough.
