Default Borussia Dortmund's coach to leave at season's end

Bombshell just dropped in Dortmund:
sources (sorry all in German):
Official BVB web page: http://tinyurl.com/y7fdum
Bundesliga web page: http://tinyurl.com/y6yx88
Kicker sportmagazin: http://tinyurl.com/y48lg6
English version from official BVB web page: http://www.borussia-dortmund.com/?%9...C%5Cl%EF%83%9E

In a nutshell, BVB & coach Bert van Marwijk have agreed to part ways at the end of this season (eff. June 30, 2007), despite van Marwijk's contract going another year (to the end of June 2008).
Rumour has it: his replacement will be Van Heesen, who is a former HSV player and now coach of Bielefeld.
Why?
Is all I can ask.
Why now?
The rest of the season is toast (why not just fire him & replace him on an interim basis until the end of the season?),
& why replace him with a nobody?
BVB is making a profit now & can likely afford a name coach.

von Heesen would be great for them, a young coach that led a low budget team to the 6th place on the table.
at Sportschau they said he will most probably change to Dortmund in the winter break, he will leave Bielefeld anyway, so they will be happy to get some money out of it.

i think hitzfeld will never ever coach a team in future, van heesen or jürgen kohler, thats my opinion.
