no way, Germany should never wear Nike, it's just not right. I don't say that just to Nike bash, I wear both Nike & Adidas when I play.

Did anybody read about Denmark taking offense to Germany's starting line-up? They think it's disrespectful to the Danes for the Germans not playing their strongest.
Well, cry me a river. Players need a rest, and youths need to develop.

"No your not allowed to take shots outside the box, coz you might score and embarrass us"

ITS SPORT FFS
I was playing in a match where we were losing 6-0 at halftime
(with 8 players btw)
and the other team just sort of sat back and passed the ball around
with the occasional shot on goal
I went up to one of their strikers and asked what was going on
and he said they didnt want to embarrass us so they were just playing it around
I got offended,
"You mean your not even trying!!"
I dont want a team to feel sorry for us and then go easy on us
told their striker to get their attack going
they got their attack going and won 14-0
because to not give it your all is the most unsportsmanlike thing you can do
It disrespects the fans
It disrespects the opposition
and it disrespects the game

A bit late, but still:
Denmark pwned you guys pretty hard, huh? Not a big deal, but still nice to win over you guys. Was that our first match since the final in 92? If so, then you sausage eating bastards have a complex
PS: Macro - is there a Frankfurt thread somewhere? I'm in such a good mood, I need to calm myself down. The only thing that really helps, is a nice big picture of my beloved friend Michael Thürk
