I was at the DUisburg stadium for the match against Denmark. I don`t think they "pwned" the German NT at all.
There were mostly people playing who had their first ever NT match and it was a nice test for all thos players.
Enke and Helmes for example really proved to be up for something great in the future

The next games are coming nearer so Loew announced the Squad for the two home games against San Marino (June 2nd) and Slovakia (June 6th).
Quote:

Goal:
Timo Hildebrand (VfB Stuttgart), Jens Lehmann (FC Arsenal)

Defence: Gonzalo Castro (Bayer 04 Leverkusen), Manuel Friedrich (FSV Mainz 05), Clemens Fritz (Werder Bremen), Marcell Jansen (Borussia Mönchengladbach), Philipp Lahm (Bayern München), Per Mertesacker (Werder Bremen), Christoph Metzelder (Borussia Dortmund)

Midfield: Michael Ballack (FC Chelsea), Torsten Frings (Werder Bremen), Roberto Hilbert (VfB Stuttgart), Thomas Hitzlsperger (VfB Stuttgart), Simon Rolfes (Bayer 04 Leverkusen), Jan Schlaudraff (Alemannia Aachen), Bernd Schneider (Bayer 04 Leverkusen), Piotr Trochowski (Hamburger SV)

Attack: Mario Gomez (VfB Stuttgart), Patrick Helmes (1. FC Köln), Miroslav Klose (Werder Bremen), Kevin Kuranyi (FC Schalke 04)

Gonzalo Castro, Roberto Hilbert, Patrick Helmes and Simon Rolfes stayed in the squad from the Denmark game.
With Helmes and Gomez upfront I'm afraid San Marino have to prepare for an other heavy defeat.

Arne Friedrich, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Lukas Podolski, Tim Borowski, Oliver Neuville, Gerald Asamoah, Mike Hanke and David Odonkor are out injured.

edit:
Does anyone know what happend to Enke ?

naah, i see him put in a last minute header.

I stumbled over this odd story again that we play England on 22. of August.
The odd thing is that only we keep announcing the game.

1. time back in December 2006, Loew disclosed we'll play England at Wembley
but the FA said they are not in the position to anounce anything .

Now I read again that Bierhoff announced the Game on March 22nd.
This time the FA won't even disclaim it nor do they have the fixture in their calendar.
Looks like Bierhoff and his fellows are very keen to play England but England is a bit shy or afraid, i dunno.

No Ballack, no Schweinsteiger because of their injuries.
Helmes has been nominated, Klose as well....haven`t heard anything else.

The friendly against England in the "Dietmar Hamann Memorial Stadium" aka-Wembley will be August 22nd, as finally confirmed by the English FA.
