international incident!? Bit of an exaggeration there!

This happens all the time, everyday in airports. Go have a check and see how many new players fail to travel on clubs pre-season friendlies to countries all over the world and you'll see what I mean
If said traveller has an invalid Visa, whether he's a celebrity or not,
no entry! At least until its cleared up, which it was in the end(by granting a temp Visa, so his original Visa is still invalid all the same. Its
his own fault).
