Default *** Spoilers *** Today's PPC Tournament Result

Sorry I don't have the article Cartbran originally posted but I was in the middle of commenting when that thread was deleted, to sum up Gamba Osaka defeated the Houston Dynamo 6-1, and were missing 7 starters

Just abolish the MLS Cup already and crown the TRUE champions, the champions of April-September. Why in the hell is Houston in a Pacific tournament to begin with

Right after I posted the thread I realized that the title was a huge spoiler so I asked for it to be deleted.

It's a disgrace to MLS to have the MLS champs humiliated like that by the J-League reserves.

The only consolation is that totally crap LA Galaxy beat Sydney FC 2-1. MLS is better than the A-League. That's not saying much.

the Gamba Osaka reserves? My heads gonna explode

Why didn't Osaka take them aside and tell them to do the right thing - ritual suicide

Thats a good question, and outside of Brian Ching none of the players on all of the teams looked like they could give two shits about playing in it.

Maybe you two guys could tell me if Boswell is really as bad of a defender as he showed against Gamba, cause I would hate to think that Ianni is going to be a starter once Robinson comes back from injury.

If Bobby doesn't feel like he's in a big match you don't get Defender of the Year 2006 Bobby, you get 2007 Bobby. If Bobby loses a big match you can expect 2007 Bobby for a few games until he gets his confidence back. Tom Soehn benched him last year which saw a great return to form for all of 1 match, and eventually lead to him being in and out of the starting line-up. He's just not a highly focussed guy unfortunately, and I think he felt that by moving to Houston he'd have a challenge again and would regain that focus. I hope so for his sake, as he's a good guy.
